In 2020 I was commissioned to create an illustration for a liquor commemorating 1000 years since the first historical mention of the Stratum area of Eindhoven.
The Gerardus Majellakerk is an iconic meeting place for the residents of Stratum and the location of the weekly market.
My first Risograph featuring a sketch titled "Dream" from an exploration sketchbook featuring star people I have worked on between 2017-2023.
Done as part of a workshop over at Onomatopee in Eindhoven in 2023.

A wonderful companion book for young readers exploring the city of Amsterdam for the first time. Each letter guides you to a place of cultural or historical significance. It's a great item to carry for your next visit to Amsterdam and it comes with a handy map of all of the major museums found around the center of the city.
This has been a great collaboration with writer Paola Bucciol and it's one of my first children's book illustration projects.
Besides creating the illustrations representative of each place/person and concept for this book, I was tasked with creating the overall visual identity and direction of the project "City Guides".
The overall design pack contains extra assets used for the social media posts, as well as various printed goodies such as greeting cards, sticker designs and more.

I have had the pleasure to work with writer Azure Moyna on the beautiful project born out of the creativity and funny moments shared by her and her daughter when thinking about pets.
"My Dog is Kinda Rude" is an engaging collection of observations of the four legged best friends in our lives, written in verse.
One of the most exciting challenges I have had with this project was creating a universally lovable and goofy character that embodies the spirit of a dog pet in today's society.
I have designed the spreads as carefree, airy "moments" that do not necessarily follow a chronological order but rather present fun, ridiculous situations. These can happen at any time during our day to day life with pets and are not necessarily perceived as "finite".
In order to match the tone of voice and theme, I have used exaggerated perspectives, and added a cartoony twist to my usual style.
Bubbly and bright colors as well as expressive loose forms and action lines were favored instead of realism, in order to appeal to a wide range of audiences and enhance the goofy factor.
Sequential artwork about my day to day.
